Counties publish who won. Nobody publishes who wins repeatedly. This is every buyer named in the tax-sale results we have extracted, with each name kept exactly as the county published it.

They are named here because who won a public tax-sale certificate is a matter of public record, and they are counted in every total on this page. No address, phone number, email, registry record or business affiliation is published for any of them, and none has a page of their own. Company pages carry the company's public registry record as filed with the state, which can include the name and office address of its registered agent; that is a record of the company, and it is labeled with the source it was read from.

Ranked by certificates and deeds won, not by dollars — several of the counties we track publish no purchase amount, and a dollar ranking would place their largest buyers last. Showing the top 100 of 694 buyers. The 100 rows shown account for 26,070 of the 27,697 certificates and deeds won by all 694 buyers ranked; the remaining 594 buyers are not shown. 399 of all 694 buyers ranked, not only the 100 shown, are individuals rather than companies; they are named as winning bidders and counted, and no contact or registry detail is published for them. As published marks a name the county itself printed with visible damage or a known misspelling; it is kept exactly as printed, because a corrected name is one nobody can find in the county's file. Overbid is the amount bid above the taxes due on a certificate or deed, as the county's results record it. It is not the purchase price, and it is not a post-sale surplus ledger. Where a county publishes the winning bid, that is the figure shown; in Maryland the amount paid at the sale is the taxes due plus a high-bid premium, and the balance of the bid is owed only on foreclosure.

Georgia and Texas are covered but have no buyer page: their counties publish an advertised property list and no record of who bought, so no buyer has been named there.

The leaderboard above is capped; this list is not — an entity page nothing links to is a page nothing can find, and the long tail of one- and two-certificate or deed operators is exactly what nobody else publishes.

Two companies are only shown as connected when something beyond the resemblance of their names says so — an SEC filing, a shared registered agent, a shared business address, or the sponsor's own published identification of its numbered vehicles. Names that merely look alike are recorded as hypotheses and are not published here. 3 families are confirmed. Each member is listed with the basis of its own link — the strongest single piece of evidence for it — because members of one family can rest on different evidence, and one member can share more than the family is named for.

Dollar totals, where shown, cover only the counties that publish an amount, and are never added across kinds: $11,556,078 in purchase prices on 3,393 certificates and deeds, and separately $27,967,238 in winning bids on 156 in Maryland, where the bid is not the sum paid at the sale ($1,832,831 was). 3,549 of 27,697 certificates and deeds carry an amount of either kind.
